Ferroscan

Ferroscan technology, is a portable system, used to locate the presence of Ferromagnetic material like iron and steel embedded in concrete. It measures the size and depth, map the position and arrangement of embedded material.

The system provides pictorial image as an output that can be used for analysis and reference.

Where Ferroscan can be used :

• Installing structural anchors.

• Structural evaluation

• Renovation

• Coring holes for plumbing or electrical installation.

The bar size of reinforcing bar embedded in concrete can be read to 10% accuracy while the depth can be determined till 6-7 inches with an accuracy of point 0.1 inch.
